Only Christ Satisfies Me!, Veronica Ortiz

For the past 23 years of my life, I've been a Christian. It is not until the last two years, however, that I have seen that Christ is real. How can this be? You may ask: “A Christian, who does not know that Christ is real...!?”

I've been “born again” (saved) for over 10 years now, and when I was saved I truly believed that there was a God, but still salvation was so objective to me. It was a doctrine.

Due to this, I sought for other things to fill me. I had not quite realized that Christ lived in me! Therefore, I had no enjoyment, no reality. I tried being “good”; I tried being “bad”. I just felt so empty.

By the mercy of God, I realized that without Him everything is vanity (not real) (Ecclesiastes 1:2). Only Christ is real. In my heart, there is eternity (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and only this eternal One can fill my heart (Romans 10:9)! Now I am filled with joy and with as true satisfaction.

I am glad I gave Christ a try. He's not a doctrine; He's life! Eternal Life! This One lives and dwells in my spirit and truly fills me with everlasting joy and happiness! Hallelujah!
